Heritage
Restaurant / Bar

Come as you are

In the heart of Woodinville Wine Country, Heritage Restaurant|Bar is a locally owned, full-service establishment. Woodinville resident chef/owner Breanna Beike fashioned Heritage as a community hub and casual meeting place where residents gather often, tourists don't feel like tourists, and the food and drinks are approachable and moderately priced.
Heritage Restaurant|Bar is family friendly, great for date night, and a wine-tourist "not to be missed" location. We are the easy, fun, down-to-earth center of the Hollywood Hill roundabout and a destination in vibrant Woodinville. Heritage is a come-as-you-are kind of place that you'll love.

Chef Breanna Beike

Midwest native, Breanna Beike graduated from culinary school in the Chicago area and immediately started cooking with celebrity chef mentors. Her excellent work ethic and drive in high volume Chicago establishments helped propel her to Executive Chef while still in her 20's. In 2013, she relocated to Seattle to helm the Seattle Yacht Club, boldly leading it through a successful kitchen revamp. A few years later, Bre relocated to Woodinville with newlywed husband/business partner Chris Brende, where they opened her long-imagined dream restaurant in the heart of Wine Country. Since April 2018, Heritage Restaurant | Bar has stacked up many accolades (best new Open Table restaurant, 425 Magazine Best Chef and Best Restaurant, to name a few) and has been prominently featured in regional and national food/wine press. In 2022, Chef Bre and her team opened Tarte by Heritage, a scratch bake shop featuring classic breads and pastries along with a local and European-influenced mercantile. In her rare downtime, Bre enjoys quiet moments at home with her husband and two dogs, Dottie and Basil. Searching for the next great rustic cabin adventure and sewing for the loved ones top her list of favorite escapes and hobbies.

Chris Brende

Chris was born and raised in Kirkland. He lived and worked in Ballard, where he met his wife, Chef Bre, and together they moved to Woodinville in 2016. Chris would say he is a jack of all trades and a master of none. He loves collaborating with the bartending staff on creating seasonal, fresh cocktails. At home, he enjoys tinkering in the garage on various projects or being in the backyard gardening and playing with their dogs.

Elise Tumbas

Elise was born in CA and raised in a restaurant family in the Bay Area. Her passion for all things hospitality took her to wine country in Napa after college, then to Manhattan for culinary school and a career in some of NY's most exciting restaurants. A 2013 move to the Seattle area with her family brought her into the bustling wine business in Woodinville until restaurants called her back home. She joined the team as the Director of Sales in 2019 and continues to enjoy wearing many Heritage hats.

Graeme Paulsen

Sous-Chef Graeme grew up in Olympia and started cooking professionally at 19. He worked alongside Chef Bre at the Seattle Yacht Club for several years and eventually joined the Heritage team in 2019. In his free time, Graeme enjoys biking, fishing and Mariners baseball. When he cooks at home, he's all about the BBQ: let's make smoked brisket $1.99 again!
